We are planning an unheard of extravaganza of Marriott Wedding Fayres in the North East, with the two initial events at
Gateshead and Durham both taking place on the same day, Sunday 28th Sept 2008 culminating in our biggest show at their
Newcastle Gosforth Park Venue on Sunday 12th Oct 2008.
Unlike some fayres, which can last as little as two hours in order to give an impression of a busy event our fayres will last from 11 am to 4.30 pm as with our established event, this will allow enough time for visitors to attend the extra shows on the September & January dates and give time for Brides to discuss their requirements with exhibitors on the day without being rushed!
The benefit of having the initial two fayres on one day is that both venues will be cross promoted using an extensive range of diverse marketing, as well as each venue creating additional awareness of the event taking place at their sister hotel.
What this means to you as an exhibitor is that you can expect to see a constant flow of Brides attending the show in their immediate catchment area initially, but also attending the other show throughout the day as we will be encouraging this with free admission and marketing of all of events. So the events will receive more footfall and you will receive more enquiries in just one day rather than you would attending two or three 'standard' events on different days, after all how many Sunday afternoons do you really want to work?
As we said prior to our very first Marriott show we are going all out to make these fayres a huge success from here on in.
We have already attracted some of the regions top wedding companies who wish to take the opportunity to promote themselves at some of the regions premier venues.
For these venues we now have an exclusive agreement with Marriott Hotels who were impressed our initial shows and the references we had received about attendance, marketing and organisation of previous events. We aim to have this reputation and successful relationship with Marriott Hotels for many years to come.
At Gosforth Park we will have fashion shows with professional models featuring the very latest in Bridalwear, Menswear, Mother of the Bride, Asian and Beach Bridalwear.
At this venue the main exhibition room will be The Grandstand Suite which is only surpassed in size by The Grosvenor Hotel in London no less, out of all Marriott Hotels in the UK.
The events will be promoted in glossy publications like ‘Your Wedding’, ’National Weddings’ magazine, as well as many diverse areas such as popular wedding websites, like our own
www.weddingpages.co.uk which receives millions of hits per month.
There will be thousands of leaflets distributed over the next 6 months via our network of exhibitors, this highlights FREE admission and FREE parking for all visitors meaning attendance WILL be fantastic.
For exhibitors there will be complimentary refreshments on the day as usual. All of the aforementioned combined is unheard of for a Wedding Fayre with FREE admission.
